Fountain Central Nips Panthers in Girls Track

Host Fountain Central was a winner in both the girls and boys team competition against Riverton Parke and Attica on Tuesday.

 


Fountain Central squeaked by the Panthers 57-54 with Attica scoring 35 points.


 


Leading the way for the girls team was Sara Dickey winning three events: 100 Hurdles (17.21), 400m Dash (1:05.49), and the Long Jump (16’3″).


 


Winning two events for the Panthers was Megan Kraemer- 300 Hurdles (53.17) and the High Jump (4’10”).


 


Lacey Henderson won both throwing events: the discus (76’2″) and the Shot Put (27′).


 


Sheldan Falls took 2nd in the Long Jump (16′ 1″) and 2nd in 100m Dash (13.09) while Ashton Searing was 2nd in 1600 (6:59) and 3200 (15:58).


 


For the RP boys Gary Secuskie was the lone winner in the long jump (18’1.5″). He also took second in the 200 m Dash (24.72).


 


Brett McNeil was 2nd in the high jump (6’0″) and 4th in the 300 Hurdles (51.16).


 


Others scoring points for the RP boys were Zach Babyak 2nd in the 1600 (5:30) and 4th in the 300 Hurdles (50.63); Austin Guoli 3rd in 400 m Dash (1:01.33); Adam Wilson 4th in the 200m Dash (26.18); Shawn White 4th in the high jump (5’4″); Donavon Jarvis 3rd in the Shot Put (37’6.5″).
